// why this exists

Most trading content sells a feeling. We teach a process.

NerdsGetPaid started as a group chat for people tired of "guru" accounts flexing P&L screenshots with no methodology behind them. It's grown into a full community built around one idea: trading is a skill you can actually study.

01

Structured curriculum

Risk management before entries. Psychology before indicators. The order matters, and we don't skip steps.

02

Live market breakdowns

Real trades, walked through in real time — including the ones that lost, and why.

03

Accountability, not hype

A community that tracks its own numbers honestly and calls out bad habits before they get expensive.

Where the actual work happens

The Discord is the core of NerdsGetPaid — not an afterthought. This is where charts get picked apart and mistakes get talked through before they turn into habits.

#pinned-rules

How the server runs

A few ground rules keep the signal-to-noise ratio high.

  • no signal-selling or paid calls
  • show your reasoning, not just your P&L
  • losses get discussed as openly as wins
  • be someone people want to trade near

Come prepared

Get the most out of your 30 minutes.

  • bring 3–5 recent trades, journaled

What members say

"First place that taught me to size positions before it taught me anything about entries. Changed how I think about every trade."

"The daily recaps are the only reason I actually journal consistently now. Small thing, huge difference."

@driftwood_fxmember since 2023

"Booked a 1:1 after blowing up an account. Left with three rules I still follow every single day."

Common questions

Is the Discord free to join?

Yes. Anyone can join the server and access the public channels — daily recaps, chart review, and general discussion.

Do you sell trading signals?

No. NerdsGetPaid teaches process and risk management. We don't sell calls, alerts, or "guaranteed" setups — the goal is for you to build your own edge.

What happens on a 1:1 call?

We look at your recent trades or journal together, talk through your process, and identify one or two concrete things to change. It's coaching, not a signal service.

Is this financial advice?

No. Everything here is educational. Markets involve real risk, and you're responsible for your own trading decisions.
